SMS Messaging Policy
Last updated: March 30, 2026
1. Overview
Job Dispatch Pro LLC ("we", "us") uses SMS messaging to help field service businesses communicate with their clients. This policy explains how SMS is used within our platform, how consent is obtained, and how recipients can opt out.
2. Types of SMS Messages
Our platform sends the following types of SMS messages on behalf of our subscribers (field service businesses):
- Appointment Reminders: Automated reminders about upcoming scheduled service visits
- Job Status Updates: Notifications when a technician is on the way, job is complete, etc.
- Invoice & Payment Notifications: Alerts about new invoices, payment confirmations, and payment reminders
- Quote Notifications: Alerts when a new quote or estimate is ready for review
- Team Communications: Internal messages between business owners and their field technicians
3. Consent
For End Clients: SMS messages are sent to clients of our subscribers (field service businesses). Consent is obtained when:
- A client provides their phone number to the service business
- A client books a service appointment through the booking widget
- A client agrees to receive communications from the service business
For Business Subscribers: By creating an account and enabling SMS features, subscribers consent to receiving platform notifications via SMS.
For Team Members: Team members consent to SMS communications when accepting their team invitation.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies by usage. Appointment reminders are typically sent 24 hours and 1 hour before scheduled visits. Job updates are sent in real-time as status changes occur. Invoices and quotes are sent as created by the business.
We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. All messages are transactional in nature.
5. Opt-Out
Recipients can opt out of SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message received from Job Dispatch Pro
- Contacting the service business directly and requesting removal
- Emailing support@jobdispatchpro.com with the phone number to be removed
After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent to that number.
6. Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. SMS Service Provider
SMS messages are delivered through Telnyx, a licensed telecommunications provider. Messages are sent from our dedicated phone number. Your phone number is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
8. Data Privacy
Phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely for the purpose of delivering service-related messages. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with third-party marketers. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
